I’m nearly ready for an epic journey! It’s not an original journey (seemingly dozens of adventurers make this personal-powered water trek every year), but I know my experiences will be 100% unique. I hope you’ll virtually join me and my motley co-pilots here as I capture 65 days of river travel.

As I get ready to depart, the first song on my Riverquest Rhythms playlist is Take Me To The River. Maybe too obvious, but it’s sort of a love song, and my wife is taking me to the river, so I think it fits, though she’s never really stolen my money, or my cigarettes. And as I get ready for the challenges ahead “I haven’t seen the worst of it” seems like an appropriate lyric.
